The Little Mermaid book process

I've just finished cutting all that 1400 pieces of little, hand painted little scales I'm going to use to glue onto the cover of the book. So the cover's going to look like the skin of a mermaid's tail ! : )

Next week I'm going to take photos of it, and upload it on my behance account, and here as well. I prefer the behance account because I can upload more photos of it. Here on dA I have to put all the pictures onto ONE picture, and that's just sooo troublesome...
I'll also make a video of it, with some piano music. Still have a lot of work to do....

p.s.: Since the new Daft Punk album came out, I can't stop listening to them.... Game of Love, Within, Doin' it Right are my favourites.... Love at first hearing

That deserves a new drawing of them teheeeee~

Hi, my name is Kata, I live in Hungary and I study in an art school, where I learn traditional drawing and graphic art. I started to take drawing seriously when I turned 12. I'm self taught, but I've learnt a lot of things from other artists too.
I'd like to become a professional Illustrator, to make beautiful books for children and for adults as well. My style has changed a lot in the past few years... I started with copying other artists' work then I got to know Naruto and everything changed. But now I prefer drawing original things, and I think I found my own style.

I love your Little Mermaid illustrations, they are wonderfully detailed and beautiful. It's exactly how I imagined her to look in the original fairy tale and you bring it to life beautifully.
